This 50-year-old Bowmore is a limited edition with only 200 bottles produced, originating from two ex-bourbon hogshead casks filled in December 1961, fifty years prior. Bowmore 1961 has been released over a four-year span, with the final 50 bottles now accessible at a price of $23,000 each. The casks underwent maturation in Bowmore's well-known No. 1 Vaults. Bottled at 40.7% ABV, each bottle is presented in a handcrafted wooden case, featuring silver neck accents and cork closures, alongside hand-blown glass.
