About this bottle

This 2024 release of Rye the Lightning is inspired by Metallica's acclaimed sophomore album, Ride the Lightning, similar to the initial limited bottling in 2022. Master Distiller & Blender Rob Dietrich selected various straight rye whiskeys, which were then combined. The blend underwent a finishing period of 2-14 weeks in Madeira wine and Caribbean rum casks, with the barrels subjected to the brand's unique BLACK NOISE sonic enhancement process. Bottled at 92 proof without chill-filtration, it is available across the US starting in April 2024 with a suggested retail price of $69.99.
