An intense, Barrel Strength Bourbon by Jason Barrett, founder of Black Button Distilling (1st grain-to-glass Distillery since Prohibition) in Rochester, New York. It's aged a minimum of two years in white oak, then finished for an additional year in freshly harvested Port casks from Port of NY Winery in Ithaca, NY before being bottled at 110.8 proof. It starts with an aromatic profile of Port, raw wood & cinnamon; a rich & bold development adds notes of mixed berries, chocolate, cherry, stone fruit, oak, corn, tobacco, & treacle; leading to a long & warming conclusion with hints of tannins & Port.
