Bird Dog Black Cherry

This is a nicely flavored whiskey. It has just the right amount of cherry flavor without tasting like cough syrup! A subtle butter note adds some interest. Otherwise, it has a pleasant, smooth finish. It's not an everyday dram for me, but it's worth considering for some cocktails.

There isn't much to say about this bottle. I purchased it wanting something to mix with cola. It worked okay in the mix but is definitely not a drink to have neat. I found I enjoyed it more with cherry cola.

Strong black cherry flavor, with minimal whiskey character. I think it would mix well with Coke, and it's passable neat.

When mixed with coke, it creates an immediate classic cherry cola taste. Excellent flavor, acceptable on its own.

Pronounced dark cherry flavor, a rather warm sensation as it's swallowed
