An intense, 20-year single malt from the Benrinnes distillery, drawn from a single cask laid down in 1997. After two decades of maturation, the Scottish producers Grindlay bottled the whisky, releasing 200 bottles. It starts aromatically with notes of toasted brown bread with marmalade & Nutella, a hint of fennel; a rich middle adds notes of walnut, cashew, honey & another touch of creamy chocolate; concluding with a medium-length finish featuring notes of black pepper.
