This bourbon has a distinct cinnamon spice that reminds me of a spiced apple cider. It's a fantastic sipper.
I am a significant admirer of BCS's work. Their 2020 New Year selection is not a letdown. It has a strong butterscotch flavor, minimal heat, and little burn. It concludes with a nutty butterscotch confectionery taste.
Better than I recall from previous tastings. It drinks quite lightly. The fruity finish is difficult to identify. Seems like peach?
Very good. I will need to taste it again, however, the flavor/heat combination is nice.
Prominent apple notes.
