Intense peat! To clarify: This is essentially an Edradour, but superior, with heavy peat and a dark red wine cask influence. Therefore: Aroma: peat, smoke, red wine, tannins, oak, fruits. Sweetness. Flavor: drying, oaky smoke. Pepper, red wine tannins, stewed stone fruits. Spicy wood. Finish: peppery, sweet and somewhat dry. A long finish.
