Nose: Citrus, orange, pears, sweet Palate: Sweet, vanilla, light oak, summer fruit, cherry sweets Finish: Long finish with vanilla, oak, and a touch of white pepper We stopped by the distillery on our way back from visiting my in-laws. They were about to close the shop for the year, but they kindly spoke with us for quite some time before shutting down. Bottle number: 178 Distilled: 2007 Bottled: December 20, 2021 This is a delightful dram. It possesses the typical Balblair notes of orange, vanilla, and cherry, but with an added layer of oak and spice. The higher ABV also contributes to a more luxurious mouthfeel. Delicious!
