A rich, fortified wine created from a blend of Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Folle Blanche, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Montils grapes, combined with a very young, high-alcohol cognac; it has been aged for at least 10 years in Limousin oak casks. It offers an aromatic profile with notes of dried fruits, wood, nuts, herbs, and spices; its rich development reveals hazelnut butter, gingerbread, prune, raisin, dried apricot, and candied orange, leading to a medium-length, rich finish with notes of oak, cinnamon, honey, marzipan, rancio, and sea spray. January 2024.
