The aroma is dark and complex, with a touch of sweetness, likely from the red wine. The taste is absolutely fantastic, packed with peppery spice and caramel sweetness. It reminds me more of a bourbon than a scotch, quite rich, with creaminess enhancing the sweetness. The alcohol content is a bit high but still very enjoyable.
