About this bottle

This single cask bottling comes from the independent bottler Douglas Laing & Co. The malt was obtained from the Auchentoshan Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands. It was distilled in 1997 and matured for sixteen years in a refill hogshead cask. This single cask release is bottled at 48.4% ABV. In line with all bottlings in the "Old Particular" series, this malt is presented without chill-filtration and contains no added coloring.

Nose: abundant toffee, butter, some leather and stone fruit, vanilla, biscuit Taste: distinct apple and cardamom (subtle in the nose), burnt sugar, slight peach and plum, woodiness Finish: short, sweet, cherry, flower petals, slight pepper, vanilla returns
