About this bottle
The Arran Distillery, founded in 1993 by former Chivas Brothers Managing Director Harold Currie at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, is among Scotland's few independent distilleries. Now owned by Euan Mitchell, who serves as Managing Director of Isle of Arran Distillers LTD, the distillery is no longer family-operated. The '100 Proof' designation refers to the British proof system, indicating a bottling strength of 57% alcohol by volume. This whisky is not distributed in the U.S.
