Armorik Sherry Cask

Nose: Intense dark chocolate covering dried cranberries and citrus zest. Palate: Tastes like a Pink Lady apple. Cocoa notes are present. A pleasant mix of autumnal spices. Finish: Raisins and prunes with black pepper, and the chocolate flavor lingers for a considerable time. This is labeled as Scottish but it is not. It is a French whiskey.

A beautiful smell of red fruits that comes directly to the nose, cherry, blackberries.. In the mouth, we find this fruity side then directly the malt, caramel, vanilla, a beautiful tasting.

Berry nose, with cherry and wood. Nice fruitiness without being overly sweet. A pleasant dryness.

I really wanted to enjoy this one, but the nose is too harsh. I much prefer the 10-year-old.
