Finish: A long finish featuring peat, char, dark chocolate, earthiness, sweetness, savoriness, and leather. 1 of 235 bottles Ex Islay Bourbon cask Peaty and meaty. A decent damp, peated whisky with pleasant layering throughout. It placed second among the six drams, receiving 24% of the votes for the evening's favorite. 71% of attendees indicated they enjoyed the whisky.

Dry peat with wonderful undertones of white fruit and cream. My bottle is actually a 2008 duncan taylor ardmore 13.
