Tasting this after a peated whiskey, and it's a first pour. Nose: Caramel, butterscotch, powdered sugar, light raisins. Dark chocolate. Very subtle light peach and rye spice. Taste: Maple syrup and oak. Intense caramel and sugary sweetness. Very strong baking spices if you chew it. Port and oak become more prominent with added water.
