Amaro Alta Verde

Unpleasantly bitter. I'm familiar with amari and enjoy intense, bitter flavors, but this one has a brutally harsh aftertaste with no depth. It was a massive letdown. It's amazing how long the flavor stays on the tongue; I wish some better-tasting amari had this staying power. As I drink more, I'm detecting distinct radicchio notes.

Remarkably similar to Malört. Very straightforward, akin to a sweetened wormwood extract.
