Another drink, another distillery, another independent bottler I haven't sampled. Constructed two years before I was born and wine-finished by Murray McDavid, it's an intriguing dram. Bourbon, berry, a bit alcoholic. It's not the most inexpensive either. I'll give it a 3.
A very intricate mix of tastes. Quite enjoyable. Sampled in Dufftown.
Fantastic punch and harmony, with a touch of syrupy sweetness
Purchased the 8-year-old. The slightly unusual smoky aroma and the lingering mouthfeel are interesting.
