Caramel and cinnamon notes. It's intense when undiluted but softens with a bit of water. A syrupy consistency with a hint of medicine. The finish is smooth. Lacks depth and is unexciting, but might work well in a cocktail.

About this bottle
Alexander Murray & Co., an independent bottler, produces the Ainsley Brae line of single malts. This bottling comes from the Royal Brackla distillery, established in 1812 in Scotland's Highland region. The distillery holds a royal warrant from a King, a distinction held by few. The Scotch is bottled at 40% ABV after 12 years of maturation in oak casks.
