Introduced in 1992, Absolut Kurant was the third flavored option from Absolut, following Peppar and Citron. This vodka is crafted from Absolut's standard winter wheat base, infused with natural black currant flavor. It contains no added sugar and is presented at 40% ABV. Initially, the intention was to name it "Vinbär," the Swedish term for black currant.
