99 Bananas

I had very low expectations for this liqueur, so rating it a 2 might be overly generous. The banana flavor is completely dominant, and the alcohol stings as you swallow. It's drinkable, but it doesn't come close to some of the superior banana liqueurs available. I'd recommend sticking with Giffard Banane du Bresil or Tempus Fugit Creme de Banane; both are better in every aspect. If you decide to use this in cocktails (I wouldn't suggest drinking it straight), I'd suggest using half the amount you were planning. Honestly, more than 0.25oz is likely too much.

The aroma brings to mind banana Laffy Taffy, with a slight hint of grainy alcohol. The initial flavors were similar, but a significant burn emerged in the mid-palate, transitioning into a finish where the sweetness intensified, shifting from banana to a medicinal taste.

An overwhelming banana aroma and flavor. I would use this for fun shots. I don't care for the taste, it's rather artificial. To me, it's a fun party shot or perhaps to make a drink taste like banana…maybe…

Clear, like vodka, with a somewhat thick, syrupy consistency and visible legs. The nose is strongly reminiscent of banana extract, as is the flavor, with an underlying vodka taste. It has a somewhat heavy body and a dessert-like finish. Quite interesting.

Pleasant banana flavor, but the alcoholic aftertaste is too strong for a cocktail requiring banana liqueur.

I really question why I bought a shot of this. It's not pleasant at all.
