Aroma: A sweet combination of mild maple, subtle sweet corn, oak, and earthy undertones. Taste: Moderately sweet with light maple flavors. Delicate corn, earthy, and oak notes with hints of tobacco. Frankly, it tasted more like turpentine. A harsh burning sensation in the throat. Difficult to consume. Finish: Long-lasting, with lingering maple notes. 72 Mile bourbon is absolutely not recommended. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I will never sample it again.
