This bourbon, with a high rye content, appears as caramel syrup with thin, viscous legs. The aroma offers notes of baking spices and rye, apple pie, cherry, warm caramel, cinnamon toast, strawberries and cream, and aspen dust. The taste presents an oily texture and is generally sweet and spicy, featuring notes of cinnamon spice, breakfast toast, orange candy, and milk chocolate malt balls. The conclusion is long and minty. This superb bourbon is intricate yet harmonious, and a favored creation from Distillery 291! Barrel 16, bottle 31/46 is what I am sampling, but each time I've tried it, it has been delightful!
