History

Rich and vermouth-led, underpinned by brandy and gin, with grenadine adding fruitiness and absinthe adding complexity.

This cocktail is adapted from a recipe featured in Harry Craddock's 1930 publication, The Savoy Cocktail Book. The "YOLANDA COCKTAIL" recipe includes 1 Dash Grenadine, 1 Dash Absinthe, ¼ Dry Gin, ½ Italian Vermouth, and ¼ Brandy. The preparation involves shaking these ingredients well and straining them into a cocktail glass.
