Serve in a old-fashioned glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
Method
- 3 POUR absinthe into ice-filled glass.
- 4 TOP with chilled water and set to one side.
- 5 Separately, SHAKE other ingredients with ice.
- 6 DISCARD contents of glass (absinthe, water and ice).
- 7 FINE STRAIN cocktail into empty absinthe-coated glass.
Garnish
- 8 EXPRESS orange zest twist over cocktail and discard.
