1 oz Gin
1 oz Sloe gin liqueur
1 oz Pink grapefruit juice
1/3 oz Lemon juice
1/3 oz Blackberry liqueur
1/6 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History

The cocktail's name comes from the roly-poly Weebles toys of the 1970s, whose slogan was "Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down." Dick Bradsell is quoted as saying, "It may make you wobble, but it won't make you fall down."

Created in 1999 by Dick Bradsell at The Player in London, England, for Nick Blacknell, who was a notable admirer of gin.
