Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill a SLING GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of spent half lime husk, mint sprigs and icing sugar.
Method
- 3 POUR first 4 ingredients into chilled glass.
- 4 Two-thirds fill with crushed ice and SWIZZLE.
- 5 FILL glass with more crushed ice.
- 6 TOP with soda.
Garnish
- 7 Garnish with half lime husk and mint sprigs bouquet dusted with icing sugar.
- 8 Serve with a straw.

History
Overproof rum, orange curaçao, and lime dominate this long, refreshing drink, with crème de cacao adding chocolate notes.
This cocktail is based on a recipe found in Victor Bergeron's 1972 publication, "Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide." WHITE WITCH ½ lime ½ white crème de cacao ½ Cointreau 1 ounce white Jamaica rum Club soda Pour the juice of half a lime into a sling glass filled with ice cubes, reserving the lime shell. Add the crème de cacao and rum to the glass. Top with club soda. Stir the ingredients. Garnish with the reserved lime shell and fresh mint, dusted with bar sugar.
