History

The lovechild of White Negroni and Negroni Sbagliato, this bittersweet aperitivo's dominant gentian liqueur can be challenging initially, but becomes compelling.

This recipe was adapted from a circa 2018 creation by Toby Cecchini and David Moo of The Long Island Bar in Brooklyn, New York City, USA. Initially intended for a Cocktails & Conversations event with architects Marion Weiss and Michael Manfredi at the American Institute of Architects, it was not originally meant for service at their bar. It has since become a signature cocktail at The Long Island Bar.
