5/6 oz Coffee liqueur
1/6 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
5/6 oz Heavy/double cream

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of grated nutmeg.

Method

  1. 3 STIR first 3 ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  3. 5 Lightly WHIP cream (shake sealed cream container) and carefully FLOAT on cocktail.

History

A White Russian variation using rum instead of vodka. Better with a charcoal-filtered light white rum than a more characterful golden rum. Depending on the coffee liqueur's dryness and personal palate, omitting or increasing sugar syrup may be preferred.
