1/2 oz Crème de cassis
1 oz Apple juice
1/2 oz Lime juice
1/3 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

Serve in a martini glass

Method

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of red apple fan.
  3. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History

This blackcurrant fruity cocktail has a citrus zing from the citrus vodka base and added fresh lime juice, the sourness of which adds balance.

Created in September 2011 by Jack Webber for the British Brown's Bar & Restaurant chain, it has since become a favorite on the Brown’s menu, listed under ‘Browns Signature Cocktails’.
