History
A Fifty-Fifty Martini with orange curaçao influence.
This cocktail is first documented in Hugo R. Ensslin's 1916-17 Recipes for Mixed Drinks. It is named after the hotel where Ensslin worked for a significant portion of his bartending career. The Wallick Hotel, which opened in 1910, was situated at the intersection of 43rd Street and Broadway in New York City and was owned by brothers Louis C. and Adrian L. Wallick.
