History

This bittersweet red-orange cocktail echoes a Boulevardier, shifting the Manhattan from late-night to aperitivo.

This is E. Clapham's original recipe from Clapham Cocktails: Stir 60ml (2oz) Sazerac Rye or similar with 30ml (1oz) Select Aperitivo and 2-3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters. Strain into an old-fashioned glass over large ice, garnished with two lemon twists, discarding the first.
