History

Named after the direct Spanish translation of Last Word, hence the use of mezcal in place of gin. Pineapple juice, another distinguishing feature of this riff, works brilliantly – adding fruity sweetness and complexity.

This is a variation on the Last Word, developed by Simone De Luca at High Road House Club in Chiswick, London, England. The recipe was shared by Gary 'gaz' Regan in his Ardent Spirits.
