History

Delicate herbal notes with a bittersweet finish.

This recipe is adapted from one found in the 1929 book, Cocktails de Paris Presents Par RIP. The 1929 recipe specifies Cora Amaro, an Italian amaro produced by G. & L. F.lli Cora. This amaro was founded in 1835 by brothers Giuseppe and Luigi Cora. The drink itself is described as clear golden amber, not overly bitter, and flavored with cinnamon and orange peel.
