History

A bittersweet aperitivo; the orange garnish rounds the cocktail.

This cocktail is the lesser-known sibling of the Milano-Torino. Originally, it was made with Amaro Cora, a bittersweet aperitivo from Piemonte, near Turin, and Campari, which originates from Milan, giving the cocktail its name. Sadly, Amaro Cora ceased production in the early 2000s, making it impossible to replicate the original recipe without an old bottle. However, a mildly bitter amaro can be used as a substitute to create a modern interpretation.
