Ingredients

1 1/3 oz Blanco tequila
1/3 oz Apricot liqueur
1/3 oz Red bitter liqueur
1/3 oz Homemade ginger syrup
2/3 oz Lemon juice
1/6 oz Honey and water syrup

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist and skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and discard.
  2. 6 Garnish with skewered maraschino cherry.

A blend of El Diablo and Toreador, substituting red bitter liqueur for crème de cassis.

The Toreador Del Diablo was discovered in February 2025 at Satan's Whiskers in London, England. This cocktail was created circa 2011 by José Manuel Alvarez Gonzalez at Milk & Honey in London, England. Daniel Waddy, a colleague of Manuel's at Milk & Honey, introduced the cocktail at Satan's Whiskers.
