History

Aged grappa contributes vanilla and dried fruit notes, complementing sake and vermouth in this complex, delicately bittersweet cocktail.

Charles Schumann created this recipe in 2026 at his Schumann's Bar in Munich, Germany. "Tomodachi" (友達) translates to "friend/companion" in Japanese and references the sake in the recipe, which Charles developed for his friends at Nonino. His original recipe is as follows: 25ml Grappa Nonino Riserva AnticaCuvée 5 Years, 25ml sake, 25ml amber vermouth, and a few dashes of Amaro Nonino Quintessentia.
