2/3 oz Americano rosso
1/2 oz Fino sherry
1/3 oz Ginger syrup
1/3 oz Hot filter coffee

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of grapefruit zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS grapefruit zest twist over cocktail and use as garnish.

The coffee used greatly influences flavour, though only a small proportion of this cocktail. It doesn't work with espresso but is brilliant with filter coffee, such as The Lost Barn Whispering Wind dripped through a V60.
