Ingredients

2 oz Ginger liqueur
1/2 oz Red bitter liqueur
1/2 oz Lime juice
1 dash Orange bitters
Top up with Tonic water

How to make

Serve in a collins glass

  1. 1 SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass
  2. 2 TOP with tonic water.

History

A bitter liqueur and ginger topped with tonic creates a surprisingly effective combination. Mature and balanced, this is a great long drink.

This recipe is adapted from one originally created by Andrew Pollard for the 2010 Domaine de Canton Bartender of the Year competition, where it won 'Best Overall Cocktail'.
