1 oz Grand Marnier
1 oz Apple juice
1/2 oz Lemon juice
1/4 oz Anise / aniseed syrup
1/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a martini glass

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of star anise.

  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History

Vodka supports a balanced blend of orange zest, apple, lemon, and star anise.

Hasse Johansen, a Danish bartender who won the Diageo World Class 2012 Western Europe Final, created the original recipe in May 2014 at Apothex Bar. This cocktail was first prepared to honor the birthday of Carolus Nolet, the creator of Ketel One Vodka. His birthday is on the 15th of May, should you wish to make this drink and offer a toast.
