2 oz Bourbon whiskey
1/2 oz Peach liqueur
2/3 oz Honey and water syrup
1 oz Lemon juice

Serve in a collins glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon slice wheel &/or mint sprigs.

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into glass filled with crushed ice.

  1. 5 Garnish with lemon slice &/or mint sprigs bouquet.

The base spirit is inspired by Harry Truman, 33rd US President, a bourbon-only drinker considered by some to be "the last great Democrat."

Created in 2007 by Jon Santer at Bourbon & Branch in San Francisco, USA, this cocktail was conceived as "a kind of ode to the south - a democratic stronghold for so long."
