Ingredients

1 oz Light white rum
1 oz Vodka
1 1/2 oz Pineapple juice
1/2 oz Lemon juice
1/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a coconut shell or collins glass

Method

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COCONUT SHELL OR COLLINS GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of pineapple cubes, Luxardo Maraschino Cherry and mint sprig.
  3. 3 BLEND all ingredients with 12oz scoop crushed ice.

History

Ice-cold fresh pineapple, rum, and vodka with a splash of citrus.

This cocktail is based on a recipe from Victor Bergeron's "Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide" (1972 revised edition), where Vic states that the drink "originated in Seattle."
