Ingredients

3/4 oz Light white rum
3/4 oz Vodka
2 oz Pineapple juice
3/4 oz Whipping cream
3/4 oz Cream of coconut
1/4 oz Blue curaçao liqueur

How to make

Serve in a poco grande

  1. 1 SHAKE first 5 ingredients with crushed ice and strain into glass filled with fresh crushed ice
  2. 2 FLOAT blue curaçao.

History

A smooth, coconut-pineapple Piña Colada.

The famous German bartender Charles Schumann created this cocktail in 1979. He was working at Harry's New York Bar in Berlin from 1973 before opening his own Schumann's American Bar in 1982. This recipe is adapted from his 1995 book American Bar.
