1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Maraschino liqueur
1/3 oz Lemon juice

How to make

Serve in a nick & nora glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of strawberry with a mint sprig tip replacing the strawberry's leaves.

Method

  1. 3 MUDDLE strawberries in base of shaker.
  2. 4 Add other ingredients.
  3. 5 SHAKE with ice.
  4. 6 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 7 Garnish with strawberry on rim.

Flavour profile

History

As the name suggests, Aviation traditionally includes crème de violette. Consider adding 2.5ml (1/4 barspoon) if this is lacking; any more will overpower the strawberry with floral notes.
