Serve in a old-fashioned glass

History

The style of "Spritz" first encountered in Venice during a first visit in 2003.

Spritzes in Venice traditionally feature local wines. Originally, Pinot Grigio or Soave were more common than Prosecco, which is now recognized as a Venetian Spritz. The preference here is for a Pinot Grigio base.
