History

A tart minimalist take on a Last Word. Depending on the lemon juice, balancing with as much as 5ml (1 barspoon) of sugar syrup may be needed.

Harry Craddock's 1930 publication, The Savoy Cocktail Book, provides the source for this adaptation. The "SPRING FEELING COCKTAIL" is presented with the following measures: "¼ Lemon Juice. ¼ Green Chartreuse. ½ Plymouth Gin. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass."
