3/4 oz Mezcal
3/4 oz Orange-red aperitivo
3/4 oz Falernum liqueur
3/4 oz Lime juice
1 dash Chili tincture

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lime slice wheel (dehydrated).

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 Garnish with lime wheel.

History

A very different "Lady" to the White Lady, this is a riff on a Naked & Famous with falernum replacing Yellow Chartreuse. If using a full-flavoured falernum, additional spice from chili bitters may not be desired.

This recipe was adapted from a 2016 creation by Grant Wheeler, who was the Beverage Director at The Garret in New York City, USA, at the time.
