Ingredients

1 2/3 oz Mastiha liqueur
1 oz Bianco/blanco vermouth
1/2 oz Fernet liqueur
3 dash Celery bitters

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest and mint sprigs.

Method

  1. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 Express lemon zest twist over cocktail and discard. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

Bittersweet and refreshing, with the distinctive flavours of mastiha and Fernet Branca.

This recipe is adapted from one created in 2013 by George Megalokonomos at Food Mafia in Athens, Greece. It was the winning cocktail of the Mediterranean Cocktails Challenge 2013.
