1/6 oz Galliano liqueur
1/6 oz Génépi liqueur

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a ROCKS GLASS.
  2. 2 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  3. 3 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History

A great aperitif drink using bready genever and gentian liqueur as its backbone, with herbal Galliano, genepi and chocolate liqueurs adding interest and complexity. Use Galliano L'Authentico, not Galliano Vanilla.

This cocktail was created in 2016 by Joaquín Simó at Pouring Ribbons in New York City, USA. It is based on, and named after, Rutte's Old Simon genever.
