1 1/2 oz Tsipouro
1/2 oz Pineapple juice
1/3 oz Lime juice
1/3 oz Banana liqueur
1/6 oz Brown/dark cacao liqueur

Serve in a nick & nora glass

Method

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of freshly grated nutmeg, cocoa powder and dehydrated banana chip.
  3. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History

Fruity, sweet, and sour; a compact, tropical-inspired Greek cocktail offering island escapism.

Tasos Korakis created the original recipe at Almond Living Well Workshop in Paros, Greece, and it was one of ten winning entries in the 2021 O/Purist Quest. Tasos explained, "Using O/Purist Tsipouro as a canvas I tried to portray the 1986 movie, Sid and Nancy, about the life of one of the most iconic couples ever, Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen, furthermore my love for Sex Pistols music was also one of my inspirations."
