History
This Satan's Whiskers variation uses orange curaçao liqueur, making it 'curly'.
From Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book comes this variation on the Bronx. The "Straight" version calls for two parts each of Italian Vermouth, French Vermouth, Gin, and Orange Juice, plus one part Grand Marnier and a dash of Orange Bitters. The "Curled" version substitutes Orange Curaçao for the Grand Marnier. Both are shaken and strained into a chilled glass.
